Still smarting from electoral set-backs for gay-marriage in California, Arizona and Florida, and gay adoption in Arkansas, the homosexual-lobby groups have vowed to fight back. Senator Ed Murray will once again introduce a gay-marriage bill for Washington during the 2009 session. With Governor Christine Gregoire at the helm working with very liberal Democrat majorities in the House and Senate, it's no secret that political correctness has run amok at our state capitol. The well-funded pro gay-marriage organization Equal Rights Washington already has events scheduled in Olympia for the '09 session and their media team stands poised and ready to spoon feed their propaganda to media allies.
Working against the will of a majority of Washingtonians is a clearly "progressive" and gay-friendly Seattle media establishment. Do the conservatives, the traditionalists, the great silent majority, whatever you want to call us, have the will to defeat the gay-lobby's efforts to overturn our marriage laws in Washington State? The Washington Values Alliance is determined to build a powerful statewide grassroots network and our priority number one is to lead efforts to counter the homosexual lobby's attacks on genuine marriage.
We have the skills, the experience, and the motivation to heed the call to this battle, but our efforts simply cannot stand without a groundswell of support. Can we count on you to partner with the Washington Values Alliance as we take a stand for marriage in Washington?
We will need help from every corner of the state if we are to succeed in standing our ground against a seemingly unstoppable liberal tide. Click here to "put your values into action" and sign up for our newsletters.
